Bag-in-Box Wine

As wine is poured from a filled bag in box the flexible film collapses around the wine and no air enters the bag during the pouring process. Most taps used for bag in box wine are of a push button design and closure is automatic once the wine has been decanted. Oxygen mixing with the product is the prime reason for reducing the life of the wine therefore the bag in box system will keep the wine fresh for several weeks after opening.
