The Flexifill MF1 is designed for manual filling of product into a Bag-In-Box packaging system. and is targeted for starter, pilot, or sample filling requirements.

The MF1 handles all types of bags from 2 to 20 litres using standard Bag-In-Box dispense valves and taps.

The filler can be used on either a bench top or can be freestanding, mounted on an optional set of legs.


The filler has as standard full CIP (clean in place) and SIP (steam in place) modes and can be steam sterilised.

All parts manufactured from stainless steel to a very high standard with CE conformity, material in contact with product stainless steel AISI316.
 

Options

  • Vacuum system to provide optimum air level when filling.
  • Freestanding centrifugal pump with cover can be supplied.
  • Weighscale table also available as an optional extra.

Operational Sequence

The bag is placed manually on the filling table and gland is inserted into the jaws. Bag is de-capped by hand or with the optional pickup manually lowered onto the tap and retracted. Filling head is swung over to empty gland position and lowered, filling is then started. The filling is controlled by a timing function. When filling has stopped, fill valve is raised and head is swung around to the empty gland position where the tap is re-inserted with a pusher or optional pickup. Filled bag is then removed from jaws.

Performance

Typical output filling at 4 litre per/sec flow rate to the filler is :-
3.5 to 4 x 10 litre bags per/min.
